Tilt and Turn Windows
Tilt and Turn windows open inwards and have a double opening function from the top and side. Opening sashes can be made much larger so are ideal when you require unbroken views. There is the tilt position for general ventilation and the fully open position for whole window ventilation and cleaning. As tilt & turn windows open in they are fully serviceable from inside so are ideal for positions that cannot be reached from the outside. Tilt and turn windows can also be combined with casement windows allowing your desired design to have an escape opening when this may not have been possible using a casement design, giving the best of both. Depending on the size of your windows they can be divided up using openers, and fixed panes with hundreds of different combinations available to suit your house design, choice and Building Regulations. All our tilt and turn windows are Energy Rated A or above through the BFRC.

SGG BIOCLEAN can be combined with SGG PLANITHERM TOTAL+ to add effective self-cleaning properties to a double glazed unit. This product combination offers a significantly more neutral and less reflective solution compared to equivalent products currently available on the market.
Acoustic Glazing
SGG STADIP SILENCE is an acoustic PVB laminated glass, which noticeably reduces noise while also offering the same safety and security characteristics as laminated glass.
Increasing Solar Gain to Increase Energy Rating
Window Energy Ratings Combining SGG PLANITHERM TOTAL+ with SGG DIAMANT low-iron glass in the outer pane can improve the energy index of a given window by further increasing solar gain.
Super Spacer
To enhance the thermal efficiency and life of our windows we fit our double glazed units with low conductivity Super Spacer. This replaces the traditional metal bar and helps prevent or eliminate condensation round the edge of the sealed unit.The spacer is manufactured from a high-quality silicon that increases the seal’s durability, is resistant to ozone, UV light and oxidation. All this increases the life expectancy of the sealed unit.A high desiccant content absorbs any moisture that is in the environment during manufacture increasing the clarity of the unit.

What are thermal reinforcements?
Windows are traditionally manufactured with steel or aluminium reinforcement which provides strength and support. However, steel is not an insulating material, which means valuable heat can be lost simply through the material used to reinforce frames. PVCu thermal reinforcements are not only as strong as steel; they are the simplest way to boost the thermal efficiency of your windows. The unique multi chambered design creates a barrier against airflow travelling through the window, which minimises the heat which can be lost through your window frames.

Test Valley windows strive to offer all our customers the ultimate choice and service. With this in mind, we offer our unique security guarantee. To qualify for this guarantee all doors and windows purchased must be upgraded to have our sealed units fitted with laminated glass to either the inner or outer pane. Please note that this option is not available on all glass designs.
