Victorian Conservatory Recently Completed In Chilbolton Hampshire

Test Valley Windows recently completed a victorian style conservatory in Chilbolton, Hampshire.
The conservatory has a traditionally constructed conservatory base with bricks to match the victorian style house. The construction is insulated using modern insulation, Planitherm Total Plus, and Pilkington Active blue glass in the roof.
Planitherm Total Plus is a coated glass that helps to retain warmth in winter and also generate warmth from the sun, when the sun is low during this season. This glass also offers great clarity.
Pilkington Active Blue is a reflective glass which helps reflect the solar heat when the sun is high in summer thus helping to keep the room cooler in summer. The reflective coating also reduces glare. This is backed with an energy saving glass that will also help retain heat in winter.
Both Planitherm Total Plus and Pilkington Active Blue filter out most of the UV light that can cause fading to fixtures and fittings inside the glass extension.
We have many roof glass options, of varying levels of reflection, which can be used depending on whether the construction is facing North, South, East or West. Various coloured tints are also available.
The frames are constructed using our Optima insulated PVCu windows and doors. This has a multi chambered system that has been designed for extra strength and insulation.
The roof system is an Ultraframe roof with low profile ridge and ball finial.
We think you will agree it looks beautiful.
