The majority of energy use in the UK is for our transport and homes. Transport uses 40% of all the energy used in the UK, and our homes use almost 30%. Industry uses 17% and services 14%.

• Industry 17%
• Services 14%

As individuals our choices impact all these areas, but we have the most influence in the energy use within our own homes and transport. Since this makes up most of the energy use in the UK at almost 70%, we as individuals really can make a difference.
