What Is FENSA?

FENSA (Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme) has been set up by the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) in response to new Building Regulations. Anyone who installs replacement windows or doors has to comply with current thermal performance standards. Our FENSA registration confirms our commitment to meeting the new regulations.Once we have completed an installation, we will issue a FENSA approved certificate which shows that the work has been carried out by a registered installer.

Before you buy replacement glazing, be sure to ask if the installer is FENSA registered. If not, you will need to make an application to the Local Building Control Authority for Approval under the Building regulations, which will take time to process and involve an additional charge.
